Land & Sovereignty Defense



Black Land Loss Prevention Project – Offers legal and advocacy services to protect Black farmers and landowners from land theft, ensuring generational wealth and property retention.


Federation of Southern Cooperatives/Land Assistance Fund – Cooperative network supporting Black farmers with land retention, economic development, and legal support.


Indian Land Tenure Foundation – Works with Native nations to recover, manage, and protect their land and sovereignty while preserving cultural heritage.


Black Farmer Fund – Provides funding, resources, and training to Black agricultural entrepreneurs and land stewards.

Mass Defense Committee – NLG – A specialized branch of the NLG that offers direct legal defense for protestors.


Bail Project – National nonprofit paying bail for individuals in need and working to eliminate cash bail.


Philly Bail Fund – Posts bail for people in Philadelphia jails who can’t afford it, while advocating for criminal justice reform.

Families for Justice as Healing – Women-led group working to end incarceration for women and girls, replacing prisons with community-based solutions.


Color of Change – Digital campaigning org pushing for criminal justice reform, voting rights, and economic equity.
